Your generous donations will help Junction Five-O-Five customers to obtain and maintain stability in a competitive integrated employment environment. It will also help ensure that Junction 505 job coaches, employment specialist and crew supervisors can continue to provide support to the customers we serve.

Each customer is different and requires a different level of support. This support can be physical or emotional. Physical support is where the job coach may work with the customer to learn a work task using hand movements to guide the customer to how the task needs or should be done. The job coach demonstrates the steps by using “hand over hand” so the customer is able to feel and move in the correct way for them to complete the task at the worksite.

Emotional support can be when the customer may need the employment specialist to make a checklist so they can look over the list and know what to do next. Verbal reinforcement or verbal praise can also assist customers in the workplace.
